With most of my paintings, the planning always happens in my head first.

I think about what I want to paint for a couple of days, then I grab a canvas, draw up what I was seeing in my mind, and paint it. That's why I love acrylic paint. It dries quickly. No fussing about like with oils and easier to use than water colour. With painting I am very impatient. I don't like coming back to the canvas again and again.
Drawing for me is usually with black pen. I like the fact that it limits you from fixing mistakes.
