2Ways is about developing, showing and evaluating interactive and dialogical presentations of ongoing European life science research. Science festivals, science centers, universities and research teams all over Europe participate in this groundbreaking project, that also includes "science parliaments" on life science issues and an extensive impact study.

Client requirements: The client required a website to be built, that would showcase the partners and their science projects.
The project: I was responsible for the strategic development work, and then followed by the Information architecture and the design. The development work was done in conjunction with Zero Zero One, a company in South Africa I have been working with since 2005. We built a custom CMS system to allow the 30 partners to update their own sections.
My comments: This was a fantastic project because of the complexities and subject matter. It needed to be fun and easy to use. We had 17 projects and 30 partners from 22 countries, which made for an interesting hierarchy of administration rights.
